, KAIAPOI SHIPMENT RELEASED. LEAVES FOR NEW ZEALAX D TO DAY. Sydney, January IS. As a. result of special efforts, Mr Ashford states that he hopes the trouble in connection with the Kaianoi's wheat will be settled and the vessel released early to-morrow. Everyone is anxious that the wishes, of the' New Zealand people should be met. as it is understood that they want wheat very badly. The settlement was reached through a proposition made by Mr Husjhes. which the Government accepted.
