Their grievance if' that twj SMiour shifts are being worked daily instead of the usual day from eight to 5. They also claim overtime rates before eight and after five. Mr Greenlees, the naval architect, re-, fused the claims. He stated that the men striking would not be taken on again. ' A mass meeting of unionists was held and all unionists, numbering 1000, in the State dockyard wcie called out. The State Government is taking on the un-J employed. , 1
