STAI'T CHANGES ANNOUNCED. Wellington, .January 10. Tlii: following changes in the railway stall' are announced:—Mr. Waite, district traffic manager at Dunedin, has be appointed commercial agent at Wellington; Mr. Bowler, district traffic manager at Auckland, succeeds Mr. Waite; Mr. Duncan district traffic manager at Wellington, succeeds Mr. Bowler; Mr. Benin, district traffic manager at Grcyinouth, succeeds Mr Duncan; Mr. Mellor, goods agent at Wellington, succeeds Mr. Bevan; Mr. Hislop. goods agent at Cliristehurch succeeds Mr. Mellor, who will be succeeded by Mr. Mathesnn, stationmaster at Lyttelton; Mr. Bean, stationmaster at Timaru, has been appointed stationmaster at Marton, liis place being taken by Mr. I'etrie .chief clerk at Marton. Other appointments are: Assistant traffic manager at Auckland, Mr. O'Loughlin, to be goods agent at Auckland; assistant traffic manager at Wellington Mr. Williams, to be sta"tionmastcr at Christehureh, who is succeeded by Mr. Brownell traffic inspector at Dunedin. The position of assistant traffic manager at Christehureh is filled by Mr. Morgan stationmaster at Auckland, who will be succeeded by Mr. Falls, stationmaster at Tnvereargill. Mr. Peoler, traffic inspector at Invereargill, replaces Mr. Falls. The position of assistant traffic manager at Dunedin is filled by Mr. Harris, chief clerk to the district manager at Dunedin. Mr. Edwards, stationmaster at Nelson, is retiring on superannuation, and will be succeeded by Mr. Peppcrell, stationnwster at Gi'sborne. Mr. Boswell, of Oamaru. replaces Mr. Peppcrell. Mr. Wood, traffic inspector at Wanganui. is retiring on superannuation, and will be succeeded by Mr. Pasley, stationmaster at Te. Awainutu. Mr. Wilson, stationmaster at Tailmpc. is also retiring on superannuation, and will be replaced by Mr. Mercer, relieving officer at Auckland, who will be replaced by Mr Coun, of Christehureh. Mr. South, stationmaster at Wanganui, is retiring on superannuation, and will be succeeded by Mr. TWeraker, traffic inspector at Auckland.
