CEMENT WORKS DESTROYED.' Wellington, .Tamiary 14. News lias been received in Wellington that the New Zealand Portland Cement Company's works at Limestone Island, Whangarci, have been destroyed by fire. The buildings and contents were insured in the New Zealand Insurance Company for £50,700, distributed amongst practically all the offices in the Dominion.
