The solicitors for toose mho might possibly lodge the petition consider that to-morrow is the last dav for lodging petitions*. Should f|he petition be lodged to-morrow, the returning officer stated that ha will take legal advice before accepting or refusing flu THE TAUMARUNUI SEAT. A petflJion will be lodged this week, praying that the election of Mr TV. T. Jennings, as representative of. Taumarunui, be upset. On the declared results Mr Jennings defeated the sitting member. Mr 0. K. Wilson, by 200 odd votes.
