The annual championship tournament of the Dominion Bowling Association was continued to-day in fine but windy Veather, and on greens heavy as the result of last evening's rain. Inter-sec-tional play in the full-rink match resulted as follows: —
Kavangahake, 23, v. Auckland, 15 < St. John's, 'lB, v. West End, H. Second Round. Karangahake, 2-2, v. St. John's, 21. Palmcrston North, 28, v. Thermion, Hi. Te Hiwi, 18, v. Ponsonby, Hi. Dominion Road (West, Gordon, Findley, Dr. Moir), 22, v. New Plymouth (Ward, aiorey, Barry, A. Smart), 19. Moir got 2 out of the first head, and then Smart gob a run of 1, 2, 2. Each side scored 2, and then Moir got 3, 1, 1, and led on 7. A single to Smart, and then Moir scored 4, 1, 1, and led 15—8. Smart then bad a profitable run, scoring 3, 3, 3, 2, and the New Plymouth skip,'with the score standing 10—15 in his favor at the seventeenth head, seemed to have a good chance. Moir, however, scored on all the remaining heads. He got 2, 1, 1, and the game was all square with one head to go. Moir got 2 out of the final head, and was thus entitled to take part in the semi-final. Semi-finals.
Palmerston North (Nash), 30, v. Karangahake (Jury), 18. Te Hiwi (Hill), 22, v. Dominion Road (Moir), 17. , The final between Nash, of Palmerston North, and !.:... d Te Hiwi, will be plaved on Saturday afternoon.
