"SUPERIOR PEOPLE." TRIBUTE TO SOLDIERS FROM THE SOUTH. Sydney, January 13. Tlie Herald's Egyptian correspondent at Mena, behind the Pyramids, says the Australian infantry camp and the Light Horse camp are at Maerda. Alongside the New Zcalanders at Heliopolis is the East Lancashire division, while the Manchester regiments guard the Citadelle. Many territorials are quartered in Cairo, which ia full of refugees from Palestine. A Cairo newspaper remarks that tbe Australians and New Zealanders are superior people. The young men seem to be of good family and have plenty of money.
