FATAL ACCIDENT.
IiORKO BY A BULL. A sliqfelii'ug accident oojeiurred Into on Tuesday afternoon, when Mr T. Ecek'sfieLl, a well-known and respected sottier, was gored so severely by a Jersey bull that lie died shortly afterwards (says the Hawora Star). *Xt is supposed thiifc lie was moving this 'bull, cne of liia own Jerseys, an animal he had reared and hand i'ed. The accident happened apparently late in the afternoon, and it was some time before it was discovered Assistance was quickly ;>t. hand n.d the bull was driven off an'l eteured When medical assistance arrived. it was found that Air Eeclesfleld was very badly hint, tile horn having penetrated his side. His family and relations will have the sympathy ef a 'avjre circle of friends in their sad trouble.
