(From Our Own Correspondent-.) Th« world is a stnall place, after all. To-day I was sliown a letter, written by a lady in Canada. It appears she ■was at a friend's place there, and noticed a photograph with our local photographer's imprint- on. This prompted the lady to write him, enquiring about a long-lost relative, who was somewhere in New Zealand, and asking for a suggestion as to how to get in touch with him. Strange to say, the relative enquired for is known to one of the photographer's friends, to whom the letter was shown, and in a few days the longlost relative will no doubt bo sending across the water the wished-for news of his whereabouts.

The Stratford Hospital Board has been without its full complement of members for some time now, owing to nobody having taken the trouble to nominate for the two vacant seats for members representing tins County. At yesterday's meeting of the Board the Acting-Inspector-Oenora] of Hospitals wrote, asking the Board to recommend two suitable gentlemen for the. vacant, positions.
