ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.
KILLED AVIUM; MOTORING. By Telegraph.—Per Pres3 Association, Waipawa., January 12. Whilst travelling from Napier to Feilding yesterday, a motor-ear containing four occupants—\V. R. Clark (Feilding) T. P. Clavk (Napier), and two ladies -overturned at a bend of the Hatania road. The first-named was pinned underneath the ear and killed. The other occupants escaped with bruises. The accident is attributed to a defect in the steering gear. DOUBLE DROWNING TRAGEDY. Levin, January 12. Last evening, at i«U.nt S o'clock, 11. Hodge and Lis sun were drowned whilst fislnn:; oil Te Horo beach. They were hauliw; in a net at t.h<- time, but it is unknown exactly how the accident happened. The body o' the father was recovered last night, but the body of the son is still missing.
