The honey industry in Tarunaki lias grown to large proportions and tlie inilieations are thai, it is only y t in its infancy. We understand thai the Taranaki Honey Producers' Association has contracted to supply to a JSristol linn TiiM) tons of honey for the present -eason at -I'/i-d. per lb. It can easily lie seen that the industry is an important one. Messrs. Quin Uros. have been connected with the industry since its inception 011 a commercial basis, and have manufactured many thousands of hives. These hires are constructed m conformity with tile best usages of beekeeping, and have llivrii general satisfaction. On the occasion of our representiitivo's visit, .Messrs. Qnin Urns, were engaged in fulfilling an order for <SOO kill super boifies to the order of one lieeI keeper. Messrs. Quill liros. Imve taken lirst prizes at shows for their hives, and v.iil be very pleased to give b#e-keepers all the information they can as to prices, etc.
