In to-day's is-ue will be round the detailed programme for the Egmont Rat ing Club's Summer meeting, to be held early next month. The Egmnot Cup, , r >0() sovs.; Egmont 'Stakes, 500 sovs.; and F'lying Handicap, 2.">0 sovs.. are the principal events to be decided on the first day. The Hawera Stakes, 400 sovs.: Atkinson Memorial Stakes, 350 sovs.: and Waimate Handicap, 250 sovs.. are fine stakes offered on the concluding day. This is a particularly fine programme, and shows that the Egmont Club is going ahead rapidly, flood nominations should be received. Entries for all races will do=e on Thursday, January 14th, at 0 p.m.
