The two Wnnganui papers, the Herald and Chronicle, refer very culogistically to tlie Melbourne Clotliiiig- Company's entry into their progressive town. Tlie.v emphasise the Melbourne's 'system of direct cash buying from leading manufacturers and cash selling, thus eliminating all middle profits, a boon alike to purchaser and seller. The Melbourne lias built up a very large and success fu] business on this soundest of trading principles, and Wanganui folk will be as quick to see tile advantages of the Melbourne's trading system as the rtcple of Taranaki have :one.
