I THE TARANATCI TOURNAMENT. ' SPLENDID ENTRIES. Splendid entries have been received for Hie J arannki Lawn Tennis Associa«i tion 9 annual tournament, which opens on the New Plymouth Club's courts, Vivian street, on Thursday. The competitors exceed in number the entries for the last tournament held here, and include members of nearly all the Taranaki clubs. All the local champions are! taking part, and the Dickie Bros., Powdieu Brothers, and Wallace are coming* Miss Gray, of Auckland, will again tryj conclusions with Miss Brewster, and Taranaki will watch the result with in* toresfc, i 1 he lawns are in capital order, but th's Association can do without any roorei wot weather until after tho tournament*
