THE IMPERIAL CONFERENCE.
SIIOI'LD JT 111' ITELD THIS YE Alt? Received 10, 4.40 p.m. London, January 0. Renter slates that none of the Dominion Governments asked for an lmi perial Conference to be lield in 1915, Tiie Imperial Government, at the outset of tlic war, intimated that a conference was impracticable in such distracting circumstances. This view is now repented, in consequence of statements of the Press that .Mr. Fisher, the Australian Federal Premier, favored the conference meeting. The Imperial Government has not heard, of any desire from the Dominions not to adhere to the original proposal of postponing until after the war, beyond the suggestion attributed to Mr. Fisher.
