A VISITING MINISTER.
HON. D. R. HALL AT WELLINGTON. By Telegraph.—Per Press Association. Wellington, January 7. A. civic reception was accorded to-day to the Hon D. R. Hall, Attorney-General of New South Wales, when sentiments of mutual regard between the Commonwealth and New Zealand Were expressed by various speakers. The Prime Minister said the visits of statesmen to each others' country would result in a closer From any point of view the relations between New Zealand and Australia were never so satisfactory as they were to-day. Soldiers of the Dominion and Commonwealth were to-day camped under the shadow of the Pyramids. They had crossed the seas together, and were camped together, and when the call came they would fight together for the Empire. Mr. Hall, in replying, said in Australia they felt a very .keen interest in the work going on in the Dominion, and all had the feeling that the interests of the two countries were indeed one.
