A BLASTING MTSHAJP. ' By Telegraph.— Per Press Association. Gisborae, Last Night, serious blasting accident occurred at Patutalii quarry this afternoon. •James Green, foreman of tile quarry, aged 40 years, married, and Archie 'iiiigden, aged 30 vears, single, were putting in a charge on top of a 200 ft. face, when a premature explosion took place, toppling both men over the fa<£, whence "they rolled 200 feet down a slope. Both were badly cut about and very seriously burned l>y the powder. It is feared that Green will loso his eyesight.
