I The acce]itar.ces for trie concluding day I of the Stratford Racing Club's annual meetings are very satisfactory, and racing should be interesting throughout, j Ten remain iu the Toko Welter, including ( Calais and Fore, which have been showMug good form at the holiday meetings. ! A win for Calais is long overdue. Wild Daisy was one of the unfortunate ones ( yesterday, drawing seventeenth place at | the barrier, but- her turn may come in the Cardiff Plate if she draws a good position. Tiora also might be improved by the first day's gaMop. The Dodger will be Meeting: tougher opponents in the Kgaere Handicap to-day, but will only have to run up to his time in the Railway Hack Handicap to prove a hard horse to beat. Crawford is in good nick at present and will probably give The Dodger a good race. Only four are carded for the Makuri Hurdles, one mile and a half. Tirohanga beat Stvrax pointless in the Ohura Hurdles, and only meets the top-weight on 71bs worse terms to-day. Of the seven engaged in the Strath more Handicap, Glenroy and Zion are nicely handicapped. A" good j crowd figure in the Dominion Handicap (eight and a half furlongs). The winner appears to be well concealed, but I Invader, Sweet Van and Chaminade will j all have good follovings. Fourteen | gentlemen riders will have an oppor- | tunity to show their prowess (or otherwise) in the Ladies' Purse. Veto finished at a great rate in the Borough Stakes and the longer distance in the I arse should be more to her fancy. Idol should also run well. Ten remain in ihe County Handicap, and if Watinc and Martingale go to the post a good finish should result. MARTON RACES. SECOND DAY'S ACCEPTANCES. Marton, Last Night.
