1 • DROPPED DEAD; 9 By Telegraph.—Per Press Association. Dunediri, .Friday. A man named Herbert Maurice Hurren e dropped dead in Stuart street. De« ~ ceased, who was apparently about 45 or ~ 50 years of age, had evidently been > working as a farm or station manager. Papers on the body indicated that ho s had been recently working for White - Eros., Waikaka, and more recently in .' the Windsor district, Oamara. Ho came r to town about two days ago.. The police i are anxious to get further information r as to his identity. j CYCLIST COLLIDES WITH TRAIN. ; Palmerston K., Thursday. > A young man named Herbert Kersall, > aged 19, employed as a mail deliverer r by the Post Office, collided with a train • this afternoon, and was rendered uricon- , scious. He was taken to the hospital. i Kersall was riding a motor-cyclo over a ' level crossing, and apparently failed to ' notice an approaching train. After be- ' ing struck the machine was thrown ' sonio 15 yards.
