I A TIiAWLKR LOST. Napier, December 23. The steam trawler Kndon, owned by an Italian named Vincent, broke down yesterday in the bay and was washed ashore a total loss. AN ALLEGED PICKPOCKET. Wanganui, December 23. Philip George Bernard was charged at the S.M. Court this morning with the theft of a purse containing £27 in notes and cheques from the pocket of Neil Rvenson. as the latter was entering a tramcar last night. He was remanded for a week. Accused was arrested this morning, when boarding the early train.
