SUMMARY AND FORECAST. By Telegraph—Per Press Association. Wellington, Las;. Night. The following is .Mr B. V. iPemberton's weather summary for t'he past twenty-four hours.:— The atmospheric pressure has increased, and strong south-westerly winds have prevailed. Showers have fallen in many parts of the country, and the weather has been cold and changeable generally, and very squally at times in various districts. Forecast—Present indications are for moderate to Strang southerly winds, giving place to more variable breezes soon; weather changeable, but fair to cloudy generally. The barometer is likely to rise further everywhere.
