THE WOODVILLE MEETING. j SECOND DAY'S RESULTS. 'Woodville, Last Night. The second day of the Woodville races commenced in fair weather, but the wind was still strong. The attendance was again satisfactory, and speculation brisk. The sum of £12,(U2 passed through the totalisator, making t!24,13,) for the meeting, which is ,t'S2 less than last year's. In the last few strides Orleans got in front, and landed the stake with a length to the good, the same distance between second and third, 'Miss Trumps fourth. Time, lmin. lCsec. SCURRY. Five furlongs.—3 Multiplication 1; 2 Combustion, 2; 4 Jem, 3. Twenty others faced the starter. Multiplication led all the way, and won by half a length, Combustion finishing very fast, the third horse a length away. Time, lmin. 3sec. HIGH-WEIGHT HANDICAP.
