The summer meeting of the Woodville Jockey Club commenced this morning in fair weather, but a very high wind blew all the afternoon. HACK HURDLES.—Captain McKay, 1; Aratiatia, 2; Merric Gup, 3. Scratched: Golden Water, Sir Donald, Okahu. The seventeen starters jumped beautifully, and no mistakes were made. Aratiatia led for roost of the journey. Won by three lengths, same distance separating second and third. Time, 3miu 32see.

I GRANDSTAND HACK.—Plunder, 1; Ladify, 2; Janitor, 3. Scratched: Bodenham, Quo Vadis, Want Te Hou Hon. A good race. Won on the post by a 'neck.
