*m , IMPORTATION OF FODDER. By Cable—Press Association —Copyright. Melbourne, December 15. The Land Tax Bill passed the third reading. Mr. Sampson urged the removal of the duty on fodder, owing to the shortage, and asked if the Government had arrived at an agreement for the importation of New Zealand fodder. Mr. Tudor replied that the Federal Government had offered the tState Premiers to act as buyer of New Zealand fodder for all the States, but they did not appear anxious to accept the suggestion. None of them had applied for the remission of the fodder duties, QUEENSLAND RAILWAY VOTE. Brisbane, December 15. In the Assembly the railway vote and other items totalling two millions have passed. A MINISTERIAL CHANGE. Melbourne, December 18. Mr. Mahon Ims succeeded Mr. Arthur as Minister of External Affairs. A LIBEL ACTION. Perth, December 15. The Attorney-General is suing the editor of the Cygnet for an alleged libel, contained in a paragraph on October 9.
