Rotorua, December 16. • Dean Lightheart, a Roman Catholic priest, met with a serious accident yesterday on the Waiotapu road, six miles from Rotorua. When slowing up at the end of the journey, a seven-year-old boy named Noel Smith, a stepson of Mr Roberts, a fanner, fell off. The wheel' of the lorry went over his head, smashing the skull.
