Mr Justice Coo'per, addressing the prisoner, said it was a pity to sec a man like Heekett, of apparent ability, committing such a long series of crimes. He would not impose a heavy penalty, because he did not want to crush the prisoner utterly, but wished to give him a chance, He hoped prisoner would serve fhis sentence without giving th« authorities any trouble, and with a view to t" mg properly dealt with by the Prison Board.
