Against the Turks
ARREST OF AN ENGLISHMAN. Constantinople, December 6. Sir Edwin Pears has been arrested and his offices searched. Talaat Bey, Minister for the Interior, threatens that, unless two persons, presumably Turkish emissaries, arrested at Port Said are released he will forthwith seize Britishers as hostages.
