T. ][. Koseveare reported fot. tiie deputation, that both candidates' were willing to give a reduction on the national issue to 55-45 per cent. M? Oiiey would agree to the same reduction in local no-license, while Mr Hughes would do away with the local issue' altogether. Mr Hughes declined to give any written answers to the questions; l Mr. Okey promised to send in written' answers to the committee.
