PERSONAL.
At yesterday's meeting of the Taranaki County Council, the chairman warmly congratulated Cr. McAHum on being the first member of a County Council to receive an acknowledgement of his services from the ratepayers. In reply Cr .'McAllum authorised the credit to the , harmonious way in which the Council worked for the good of the whole County without that petty parochialism that had been in evidence years ago.
