THE WEATHER.
FORECAST. Wellington, Last Night. The following is Mr Bates' weather forecast:— Present indications are for westerly gales, changing to southerlies shortly; weather squally with rain probable generally; snow on higher levels, and a cold snap following. There are indications for thunderstorms in parts. The barometer has a falling tendency at present, but is likely to rise by tomorrow evening.
