CHILDRENS' NO-LICENSE DEMONSTRATION.
A procession of about one hundred and fifty children took part on Saturday afternoon in making a children's nolicense! demonstration. Assembling at the Good Templar Hall, the demonstrators marched along the Municipal steets, followed by a large crowd of people. The procession consisted of several waggons .crowded with children, and gaily decorated with bunting. The Juvenile Temple, 1.0. G.T., with a tableau of their own, led the procession, with a large banner. Then came the Fitzroy Band of nope typifying the "Old Woman's Shoe," and had various banners adorning the side of their vehicle inscribed, "Vote for us!" The Whiteley Memorial Band of Hope Scouts, came next, firing toy pistols and with 'After the Enemy" placarding the sides of their vehicle. The St. Aubyn Band of Hope personified St. George and the Dragdii, the Dragon reprcsent- | nig drink. The Westown Baptists with a decorated motor vehicle, and the Presbyterian quota marched along with banners flying, and a gaily decorated pony chaise was filled with members of the W.C.T.U. The children enlivened tlic tedium of the march with songs. Ail open-air meeting was held in lower Currie street, the singing being a special feature under the direction of Mr McClcllan. Captain Okcy was marshal.
