BOURBON PRINCE EXILED. Paris, December 3. Dom Jaime de Bourbon, who appealed to Carlists to sympathise with the Triple Entente, has bqen arrested at his castle at Frohsdorf, in Austria, 011 the ground that he is a colonel in the Russian armv- Dom Jaime protested to the Emperor that he was a member of the Austrian Imperial family. He was ultimately given the choice of remaining a prisoner or going to Switzerland. He choose ±he latter alternative. . WAR LOAN HANGS FIRE.
CHILDREN ASKED FOR THEIR MITE Rome, December 3. ' Advices from Vienna, are that the wai loan subscriptions are still unsatisfactory, notwithstanding the forced levy on all the banks, and even on small rural depositors for contributions. Civil servants have now been notified that the Government, correctly interpreting their enthusiastic desire to contribute to the country's needs, retains a percentage of their salaries. Children in all tlie schools are asked to bring a contribution to the loan, however small.
