FoHdwiitg is Mr. Bates' weather forecast:— Present indications arc for incrdaiing northerly and westerly winds and a falling barometer everywhere. -M-ikl and hsuty weather probable in the cast coast disrriots for a short period, hut Unsettled with rain on the west coast and southern portions of the South Island. Unsettled conditions are likely to follow generally.
