BUSINESS NOTICES.
There's really no reason why a person wanting to purchase a Christmas pres-. ent should lie pushed, hustled and bustled about in a crush of people. An invitation was extended to Stratford people last year by Mr H. J. Hopkins to do Christmas shopping early, and those who wisely accepted the invitation found tile full range of Christmas presents, as yet not picked over, and they had plenty of time and plenty of room to make their selection. Mr Hopkins repeats the invitation this year, and is mow ready for the early Christmas trade.
Whether it is that the public are dissatisfied with the gih prices charged by tailors or that men have suddenly discovered this wonderful value offered in the Melbourne's high-grade read-to-wear suits, the fact remains that the suit brade now being done by the firm is phenomenal. There suits are worth investigation.
