NEW PLYMOUTH HIDE, SON, WOOL AND TALOW SALES. L. A. NOLAN & CO.'S REPORT. Our sale this month of the above eventuated in our Gill street store on Tuesday last, the -24 th inst,, We offered a rather larger all-round catalogue than usual. Included also were 78 bales of new season's clip wool. Competition was keen and well sustained throughout. Wool offered realised full market rates, course and medium showed a rise of quite 1 '/id to ly s (l on best prices obtained last year. Fine wools in some instanced showing same rise. In the case of short staple fine wools such as down, last season's prices were fully maintained which was not expected.
