OPUNAKE RAILWAY.
ROUTE NOT FIXED.
Il'awcra, November 2S. [ iTlie Premier this morning, replying to a deputation, denied political influence in respect to the Opunake railway route. The matter was settled by purely public considerations, and though the exact point of the junction was still the subject of consideration by the Public Works Department, and 'the AVorking Railways Department, that also will be settled similarly.
