RACING FIXTURES. Nov. 28.—Takapuna J.C., Spring. Nov. 28, 30.—Feilding J.C., Spring. Dec. lfi, 17.—Woodville J.C., Summer. Dec. 26, 28.—Taranaki J.C. Christmas,

TURF TOPICS. (By "Moturoa.") Two raco meetings, Takapuna dnd Feilding, will engage the attention of sportsmen to-day, and at both gatherings local stables will be well represented. Patronale, Ratana, Bisogne, Florist, Advancer, and Ineuru wijl be racing at Takapuna, and at Feilding we will have Rewi Poto, Maniaroa, Bercola, Timothy, Astor, Play-Off, Manawakaha and others [ do battle for Taranaki. The Feilding meeting will be concluded on Monday. Good fields will face the starter at Takapuna. Soldier and Fisher may carry some money in the Pupuke Handicap; Spalfish in the Kawau Hurdles; and Kitty Bellairs and Delenda in the Cautley Handicap. The Spring Handicap (one mile), looks open, but Patronale finished fast on Wednesday and should give a good account of himself to-day. Electrakoff is up against a very ordinary crowd in the Welter, and Loyal ,Arch reads much the same in the two-year-old event. The Stanley Hurdles may see Florist change places with Lady Sabretache, and, if anything upsets the top-weights it may be GlenSalbyn. Tinoreka shaped promisingly on the opening day and may show up amongst the poor cattle engaged in the Vauxhall Handicap. Considerable rain fell at Feilding yesterday and the weather to-day is likely | to be wet and windy, but the course may not be bad owing to the previous long spell of dry weather. The Flying Handicap (six furlongs), has drawn some fine sprinters, including Rewi Poto, Bertrada, Grattan and Play-Off. One hears nothing but Rewi Poto, but nine stone may stop him. Bertrada ran second in the Stewards' Handicap, but it was the only decent race she ran at Riecarton, and a rise of 151bs. may settle her. Grattan has done nothing meritorious since the Wanganui meeting, and Astor is another that docs not appear to be at anything like his best. Play-Off may beat the top-weights. If the winner comes from the lightweight division it may be spelt Epworth. A disappointing lot figure in the St, Andrew's Handicap (1J miles). Maniaroa is the nominal favourite, though Passadena and Portraiture have some friends. The Inglewood horse reads as •well as anything, after considering his running at Marton, Wanganui and Riccarton.

Glenorchy met with a mishap at Riccarton but is now quite right and may prove recent running to be all wrong when the Spring Hurdles come up for decision.

Bercola has been registering good work at Hawera, and may prove Ulenorehy's toughest opponent.

The Hack Hurdles are a moderate lot. St. Gate heads the list and is not over-weighted. He usually, runs well at Feildmg. Another hofsc with a big reputation is Aratiatifl, who is (said to be a proficient jumper. Of the highweights nothing (goes betted on the tracks than Grandson. This nag was going well at Weverley when ho fell. Birkful may start favorite! in the Kiwitea Welter. If Kimibomlii lias the services of Glliver ho may be hard to beat.

' Two-year-olds have a big pull over the older horses in the Feilding Stakes, and the bflst of the former division, probably Baifctlo Eve, will command it big following. Mia Cora and Postillion should giv-? the favorite a good race. A big field will line up for the Fitzroy Hack Handicap, and the public may go for Quo Vadis and Master Achilles. Fore is shaping nicely on. the tracks, and is a good outsider. A lot of rubbish is engaged in 41>e Trial Plate. On Otaki and' IWaverley form Wild Daisy should run well.
