BOMBS THROWN AT POLICE. ARE THE GERMANS IX IT? Calcutta, November 20. Indiana threw a bomb, seriously injuring two bead constables. A second bomb killed a Punjab police orderly, and wounded two others. Two Punjab head constables and a Bengali deputy-superintendent were conferring with other policemen in the Indian quarter concerning political cases when a bomb was thrown through a window, wounding the head constables. Holicenien and others chased the perpetrators, who threw a second bomb, killing an orderly and wounding two pthers, including an unknown man, who refused to give his name.
