Ml!. 111'(;I11CS AT TATARAIMAKA. Mr. 1). J. Hughes, the Lioeraf candidate fur Taranaki, addressed an enthusiastie audience at Tataraimaka last night, Mr. \Y. IfoneylieVl presiding. Special reference was made by the speaker to the loan promised by the Government 1 to the New 'Plymouth 11i<>! 1 School Hoard, Mr. Hughes characterising this as a piece of bribery emanating from a "purist" party. A vole of thanks was accorded to the candidate, 011 the motion of the chairman, seconded by Mr. Morris.
