PIGEON RACING.
On Saturday last the New Plymouth .hast Flying Club held a race from Palmerston North, a distance of 130 miles, sis members competing. The results were as follows:—F. James' "Bluo Striple," -Mil's. 34min., 1; C. Hodge's "Sea Spray," 4hrs. RSmin., 2; G. Bryce's "Mistake," 4hrs. 42min., 3. Other times were: W. Koch's, 41ii's. 4timin. 30scc.; W. Beale's 4hrs. 52min. 30sec.
