UNION IN TROUBLE. Received 23, 0.40 p.m. Sydney, November 23. William Kellen, a pastoralist, is applying to the Arbitration Court to cancel the registration of the Australian Workers' Union. The allegations include one that the Union ordered and assisted in strikes for the purpose of enforcing their demands; and that the rules contain matters contrary to law and public policy; imposing unreasonable conditions for the continuance of membership, which are tyrannical and oppressive; and that there have been breaches of the award governing the pastoral industries.
