Tlidc is every indication that Hie entries for tin; forthcoming show, to In held on the 2nd and 3rd of Pcoembcl next, will bo better than former years. Entries are coming in to the secretary's office, daily. Various recommendations were made by the exhibiiors and othern after the last show, for the betterment of many classes, and a great extent these suggestions ],. IV (. |( ., pn C ; lrr i o( [ ou^ and no doubt will be a.i extra inducement for exhibitors to swell the entry lists.
The one day teat that was so popular at the last show is again in this year's schedule, and should bring kcon competition. The prize money in all classes is on a liberal scale, and as heretofore every care and attention will be paid to exhibits forwarded, whether animals, produce or machinery. Every preparation is well in hand for holding the show, and both exhibitors and the public may rely on the fixture being in every respect more advanced than previous shows, and this is saying a good deal. We would remind exhibitors that entries close on Tuesday next, 24th inst. In order to meet the'eonvenience of New Plymouth exhibitors, entries can-be made with Mr A. L. Humphries, secretary Taranaki A. and P. Society, dime Street. Any information required on any or matter, will be gladly given on application to the secretary, Mr Sydney Ward, Box 58, or 'phone 182, Stratford.
