ENGAGEMENT WITH REBELS. WHITE FLAK TREACHERY. Received 22, 4.4.") p.m. Pretoria, November 21. Official—Commandants Koon, Davel, and Nando, with three hundred men attacked fifteen hundred rebels at Zoornberg, in the Seuekal districts. The Loyalists narrowly escaped being surrounded, owing to white flag treachery. One was" killed, and seven wounded, including Davel and Naude. Twentynine are missing. Several rebels were killed.
