LAWN TENNIS.

TIRONGA CLUB. The three new courts which have been laid on the section acquired by the Tironga Tennis Club at Vogcltown were officially opened on Thursday afternoon by the president, Mr G. W. Browne. There was a large attendance of members and friends, and all expressed surprise at the excellent condition of the courts, considering that they have been so recently laid down. They played splendidly. The ladies of the club dispensed afternoon tea, and altogether a most enjoyable afternoon was spent.
