What a lot of carelessness the average dairy farmer shows in managing or mismanaging his farm! More is this observed in the matter of cream separation, and it is now generally observed that a farmer who separates at home is pounds better off than the man whose ideas think only of the "expense"—socalled—of an up-to-date separator, say, for instance, a world-wide known machine such as that advertised to-day by Griffiths and Co., the famed Alfa-Laval.
