INDIAN LOYALTY. PARLIAMENTARIANS IN THE " FOBCES. London,* November 12. The process of passing resolutions affirming complete loyalty to the British cause proceeds steadily throughout India.
Mr. Asquith, in the House of Commons, said it was necessary to introduce a Bill to make regular the action of certain members of the Government in taking offices of profit by accepting commissions in the army or navy. Mr. A. Henderson assured the Government that the Laborites would support it to secure the unity of the Empire. Messrs Henderson and Long warmly criticised the War Office for mismanagement and delay in paying allowances to the wives of soldiers and sailors. This had had a serious effect on recruiting.
