PIGEON RACING.
The New Plymouth East End Flying Club decided two races last week. The first, a flock race from Nel'sdn, liberated by Mr. Hockey, resulted as follows: F. James' "Success' 7hrs 25min 1; C. Hodge's "Dorna" furs 25min 30sec. -' W. Boch's "Warstep" , 7hrs 3Cmin S; \. Glceson's "Morning Star" 7hrs 48mm The second race was an interval from Te Kuiti. The weather conditions wen excellent, and fast, times were recorded. Mr. A. J. Moverley, a member of the club liberated the 'birds. Results were as follows:—W. Beale'a "Pop" 2hrs 15 niin 1; W. Roclvs "Eden" 2hrs 17min SOsec 2; E. Billings "Silver Shot" 2hra lilmin 30sec 3. Other times were: F. James 2hrs 22min, A. Gleeson 2hrs 30min.
