A PUBLIC TRUSTEE'S SUICIDE. By Telegraph;—Per 1, Press Association. Chriutchurch, Laßt Night. Mr. Q. A. Smytho, Public Trustee in Christehurch, was found dead in bed at the. Clarendon Hotel tins afternoon. At the' inquest, held to-night, evidence was given that deceased was lately suffering from worry. Some little time ago ke consulted a doctor, who told him ho waa suffering from an incurable complaint, and had not long to live. The doctor who conducted tho postmortem examination said there was nothing at all wrong with Smythe. Deceased made a will this morning, and obtained a promise from tho witnesses that they would vouch for his testamentary capacity. A verdict of death by irritant poisonhg while in an uisound state or miat was returned.
