HIGH SCHOOL STEEPLiEOHASE. The High School boys steeplechase yesterday proved very interesting and exciting. The course was:—School up Avenue Road to Heuui Bridge, followed right bank of river and came out on Old Hospital Road near Mr Stanley tfmith's, thence down Hospital road to Bowling Green, over the old Railway Bridge to Watson street, Lemon street, Hobson street, on to the school srounds. • To Lai distance, iy s miles. Brace's time of 26mm 21scc works out to a little over an average of 6min per mile. The winner received the Steeplechase Cup. Previous holders:—l9l2, 11. Hine; 1913, iB.
