Also ran: Pretty Bobby and Chantry. Lesbos led throughout, and won by five lengths, though pulling up. A neck divided the second and third horses. Time,'lmin. lOsec. LINLITHGOW STAKES,
Of 12 sovs. each, with £ISOO added; second horse £3OO, third £l5O. For three-year-olds and upwards. Weight-for-age. One mile. Mountain Knight, 8.0 1 Blague, 8.0 2
Philio, 8.13 : 3 Also ran: Aleconner, 9.2; Aurifor, 9.2; Cagou, 9.2; and Woorak, 8.0. Philio spurted off, and led the field to the straight. Woorak then paced it with Pliilio for ten furlongs, and then dropped back. Mountain Knight ran up to Philio on rounding the turn, and Blague was also moving up. Philio led into the straight a length from Blague, but Mountain Knight came ou,t and won by a length, one length and a half separating the second and third horses. Cagou was fourth, Woorak being a bad last. Time, lmin. 40sec. CARNIVAL HANDICAP',
Of 0 sovs. each, with £SOO added; second horse £IOO, and third £SO. One mile. De Gama, 8.3 1 Hush Money, 7.7 '.'. 2 Creek Fire, 11.3 3 Eight others started. ■ Fidelia made most of the running, and led into the straight, followed by First Principle, De Gama, and Greek Fire. De Gama came through, and won by half a length, three-quarters of a length separating the second and third horses. Time, 2min. 7MiSec.
OAKS STAKES, Of 10 sovs. each, with 500 sovs. added; second horses 100, and third 50 sovs. ■ For three-year-old fillies, 8.10. Messrs. P. Roger and J. These were the only starters. Carlita led throughout, and won by three lengths. Time, 2min. 38% sec. VETERAN STAKES, Of G sovs. each, with 500 added; second horse 100, and third 50 sovs. For four-vear-olds and upwards. One mile and a half. Allansford, 6.7 1 Wishing" Cap, 7.7 2 Abbey Craig, 6.7 .-■■ 3 Seven others started.
Allansford led all the way, and won his lirst race strongly by three lengths, two lengths separating the other placed horses. Time, 2min. SoVisec.
